Title: Beware of
Teacher
Author: Tony Blundell
Genre: Realistic
Summary: The wolf was
wondering where he could find children. He went to school where all of the
children were lined up. They all looked at him worried. When the teacher saw
the wolf, she pretended that it was completely normal. In class, the wolf
looked around, thinking about dinner time. He chased the kids onto the
playground but couldn’t catch any of them. He fell and when he opened his eyes,
he was tied up by the children. They told the wolf that they would untie him if
he got their teacher instead of them. Just as her got there, the bell rang. It
was dark inside and the wolf fell again. When he opened his eyes up this time,
the teacher was looking down at thim. After, all of the children and the wolf
went outside to the headmaster. The wolf played with ribbons and the girls and
boys took the other end. Suddenly, everyone was dancing. The wolf realized that
he was tied up, yet again, and he couldn’t move at all. Everyone left the wolf.
Much later, the hungry, miserable wolf hopped miserably into the moonlight.
Characters: wolf,
students, teacher
Plot: The wolf was
trying to get the children, and was then directed to the teacher, who he
couldn’t catch either. It hurt him because he got tied up.
Theme: N/A
Opinion: I thought this
was a cute book, but it was a little confusing as to why the wolf wanted to get
the children in the first place.
